Shipping & Delivery

In the unlikely event that your product is lost or damaged in transit please advise us. In the case of damaged goods please retain the product and contact the delivery agent. Purchasing Insurance is desirable.

Deliveries of Original paintings and Custom made paintings will normally be made within 28 days. Prints will normally be made within 2-15 days. You will be advised of any delay or if the item is not available. We will not be liable when delays are due to circumstances beyond our control once left our premises.

Delivery will be made by postal or courier service and will be paid for by the customer at the price indicated at time of purchase.

Delivery Method

  • "Trackable" means the item can be tracked (located) at any stage during the delivery process
  • It is your responsibility if an un/under insured order is lost / damaged in transit 
  • While we can guarantee when we ship, actual shipping times may vary unless specifically stated as a 'guaranteed' delivery time 
  • Couriers deliver during business hours and someone must sign for it. Australia Post deliveries SHOULD leave a card in your letter box if no one is home.

Australia Post:
(circumstantial to size of Product, Courier may be the only service available) Standard is, No insurance, no item tracking. Insurance can be added (see below) If no one is there to accept delivery, a card SHOULD be left in your letter box and you collect the item from your local Post Office.

Business Courier:
Business addresses in a business precinct only. Guaranteed delivery times. Business Courier, No insurance, trackable. Insurance can be added (see below) Business addresses only. $10 re-delivery fee applies if no one is there to accept delivery the first time!

General Courier:
Home / PO Box delivery Standard Courier, No insurance, trackable. Insurance can be added (see below)

Optional Shipping Insurance

  • Anything sent via Australia Post or a Courier is not automatically insured. Both Australia Post and Couriers charge for insurance.
  • You can add insurance to your delivery to cover the replacement cost if it is lost or damaged in transit.
  • Any claim doesn't require you to fill in any forms and if a print on canvas or a print on paper is lost / damaged we will re-print and re-send without waiting for the outcome of the insurance claim. This means you don't have to wait to receive a replacement product.

It is your responsibility if an un-insured item is lost / damaged in transit We highly recommend insurance, especially on original paintings or custom made paintings, as items do ocassionally get lost or damaged.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the product delivery address is correct. Cheska Paintings takes no responsibility for any product a customer does not receive because of errors in the delivery address given to us.
